We are B Corp
As of May 2023, Mingori Engineerng & Building is a Benefit Corporation, and as such pursues the goal of creating long-term sustainable value by balancing purpose social purpose, positive environmental impact and profit, operating in a transparent and responsible manner, generating benefits for the community, workers and the environment.
Certification
In April 2024, after a rigorous verification process, it obtained, among the first companies in the industry in Italy, the B Corp certification issued by B Lab Italia.
Environmental impact
Attention to environmental impact in the industry in which it operates has always been at the core of Mingori Engineering & Building’s mission. Guided by the desire to contribute positively to the surrounding environment, the company constantly strives for innovation in its construction practices.
Goals
Among its priority goals, the company has placed special emphasis on using certified materials with low environmental impact and on obtaining contracts geared toward energy efficiency and achieving prestigious environmental certifications, such as LEED and WELL (among the world’s most important protocols for building sustainability). In line with the principles of the circular economy, solutions have been implemented to reduce the use of raw materials and the production of waste, promoting the reuse and recycling of materials.
Emissions
Another crucial priority is the reduction of CO2 emissions. Currently, the company is focusing on purchasing electricity from 100% renewable sources, not excluding the adoption of emission offsetting solutions in the future.
